Ibis Bay Resort Policy

General Policy
Ibis Bay Resort has a zero tolerance policy against anti-social behavior. We may remove
any person(s) who acts in an intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy hotel property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodations or services. Ibis Bay Resort may limit the number of persons who may occupy a particular guest room in the hotel and will only allow registered guests to use its facilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the hotel or any furniture or furnishings within the hotel, shall be prosecuted by law. That person(s) will also be liable for damages sustained, including the hotel’s loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while the damage is being repaired.

Spring Break Policy
All guests must be 21 years of age
or with a parent or legal guardian of age, in order to check in. You must present a valid legal ID and a credit card. For any guests under the age of 25 there will be a $250 security deposit taken (credit card authorization) that will be released upon checkout once room is inspected and found to be in acceptable condition.

Credit Card Policy
Credit cards will be charged at check-in for the amount of your stay plus applicable resort fees. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. This hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Deposits
The deposit for your hotel reservation is 1st night of the total stay after taxes. A minimum of 1 night deposit is required. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover are accepted. We do not accept cash.

Cancellations
Normal Cancellation Policy
A reservation must be canceled 7 days prior to arrival of your check-in date to receive a full refund.

Fantasy Fest
Fantasy Fest reservations cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund. No refunds or credits will be given for any cancellation within 14 days of Fantasy Fest.

If notice of cancellation is less than policy requires, the deposit is non-refundable.

Resort Fees
All guests over the age of 12 are required to pay a resort fee. The resort fee is $12.50 per person per night plus tax. Resort fees include parking, downtown shuttle, pool towels, continental breakfast, plus coffee and tea available every morning at the restaurant, and other hotel amenities.

Check-In and Check-Out Policy
Ibis Bay Resort’s guaranteed check-in time is at 4PM (EST) and check-out time is at 11AM (EST). Requests for early check-in and late check-out will be granted based on hotel availability at the time of check-in. Guaranteed late check-out is available for an additional fee. Ibis Bay Resort will accommodate guest luggage in a secure location until the guest room is ready.

Age Requirement Policy
The minimum age for guest registration is 21 years of age.

Baby Cot Policy
Complimentary baby cots are available upon request. A cot must be requested 24 hours prior to the arrival date.

Early Arrival Policy
We are pleased to accommodate early arrival, subject to availability. Please make your request as early as possible to ensure availability. To guarantee early arrival, the room must be booked the previous night.

Smoking Policy
Ibis Bay Resort is a 100% non-smoking hotel. All guest rooms and indoor public areas are non-smoking areas. Smoking inside a guest room will result in a $200 cleaning fee. Smoking is strictly restricted to outdoor areas. Please use the fire-safe cigarette disposal units throughout the property.

Lost and Found Policy
Ibis Bay Resort is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. Should any guests lose personal belongings while staying at Ibis Bay Resort, if recovered, the item will be recorded as “found”. Ibis Bay Resort will make a reasonable effort to contact the guest if an item is left in the hotel’s guest room after the guest has checked out. We will ship items back at the owner’s expense. Any items in the Lost & Found that are not claimed within 14 days will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

At check in you will need to provide a valid form of government issued identification and sign a hotel policies agreement that proves you are aware of all the policies listed on this page.
